We’re back. We had some technical difficulties so this podcast is going to be a two-parter. James has been in New York and Eric talks about his misadventure in L.A. looking for some pirate bar. I think we discuss some DVDs at some point.
Join us for another episode of The East Wing Podcast!
I’ve been in New York for the past week and Eric is still getting settled in L.A. We should have a new podcast soon, maybe next week. Thanks again to everyone who is listenting. We would love to hear your comments, so send us an email.
I am sure we will have a baker’s dozen of movies to talk about next time so stay tuned! Subscribe to our RSS feed to keep up to date with what is happening and subscribe to the podcast through iTunes to get the latest episodes.
It’s time once again to tune in, turn on and drop out…or is it turn on, tune out and drop in? I don’t know, I missed the sixties by a few years. It is time, however, to download another episode of The East Wing Podcast. It’s lucky number 13!
This week Eric and James discuss the hilarity of Tropic Thunder, Step Brothers, PIneapple Express, the tragedy that is the new Mummy movie and some other DVDs. James is underwhelmed by Hellboy and Eric is living in L.A. now and has a funny story about his experience thus far.
*on a side note, we had to re-record this episode because our original set up at Redgie’s house didn’t work correctly and the audio sounded terrible. It’s another fun filled hour of The East Wing Podcast
and we’re still waiting to for email from you guys. We want your questions, comments and reviews. Seriously, if you subscribe through iTunes, write up a review. We want more listeners so the more reviews we have the better.
Join us for another episode!
The night is darkest just before dawn. It’s the all Dark Knight episode of The East Wing Podcast. James and Eric talk about this summer’s, nay this year’s best movie. It’s the best Batman movie in years and it just may be the best comic book movie adaptation ever. James thinks Heath Ledger is up for a posthumous oscar. Join us for another addition of The East Wing Podcast – Dark Knight edition.
You have probably seen the new addition to our site on the right.
It’s our new “On Notice” board, curtousy of ShipBrook.com where you can make your own board on the fly.
Why this board? Because it isn’t enough that we mention those who do harm to the gaming and film community on the podcast, we needed a place to permanently showcase these people on a wall of shame. So There it is, the On Notice Board.
We’ll update this as we see fit.
It’s an all video game episode of The East Wing Podcast.
Eric and James discuss the latest from E3, what games we’re looking forward to and what new projects are coming.
Why an all games episode? We decided we really didn’t have enough time in just one hour to talk about all things movie and game related. Now you get double the dosage!
Seti@Home and BOINC have teamed up to create one of the coolest tools I have ever used. If you are like me, you probably leave at least one of your computers on. BOINC will run in the background and process data chunks from the Seti@Home project. If your computer discovers the signal, you get credit for it! What could be more exciting than that?
The software uses idle cpu time to process the data and there is a cool screensaver you can activate to watch the data being analyzed. I’ve set up a team for EWP that you can join after you download and install the software.
Another adventurous episode is upon us! James and Eric bring you the latest reviews of this summer’s superhero roundup. Find out who’s Wanted and can’t wait to curve bullets at you. Get drunk and destroy things with Hancock, and finally defeat the ancient Golden Army with Hellboy 2.
But wait, there’s more! We are doing double duty. Episode 11 will be up shortly which is an all new video game review podcast. That’s right, we listened (sort of) to your gripes and have decided to have double the fun and do 2 podcasts each time. The first episode will always be movie reviews and the second episode will be game reviews and maybe some other stuff. This way you get even more delicious audio each time.
And we’re back!
This week Eric and James talk about summer blockbusters The Hulk, The Love Guru, and blast from the past Donnie Darko.
We’ll be seeing Wanted tonight and working on TWO more podcasts for next week. Since some people seem to have short attention spans, we are going be doing two podcasts at a time but one will be about movies and one will be about video games. So you get double the pleasure, double the fun! Stay tuned!
I’m a gamer. I will play just about anything and that’s no joke. Yesterday I was playing Tonka Construction Play Pack for the PC because I wanted to show my 1 year old son the trucks and tractors which he loves.
However, every once in a while there comes a game that just can’t live up to its predecessors. This game is Medal of Honor: Airborne. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to get past the first level of this game to no avail.
I’ve played all the other MoH games and the last two were great. The controls were good, they made sense and were easy to get along with. Guns were accurate for their models and the graphics were awesome.
So did EA fire that entire team when they decided to create “Airborne”?
