Author: Seti@Home and BOINC have teamed up to create one of the coolest tools I have ever used. If you are like me, you probably leave at least one of your computers on. BOINC will run in the background and process data chunks from the Seti@Home project. If your computer discovers the signal, you get credit for it! What could be more exciting than that?
The software uses idle cpu time to process the data and there is a cool screensaver you can activate to watch the data being analyzed. I’ve set up a team for EWP that you can join after you download and install the software.
